Ice climbing

Ice climbing is a winter activity full of adrenaline. Perfect conditions are available in the Mlačca gorge where members of the Mojstrana Assotiation of Ice Climbers prepare the ice climbing facility. If you have the necessary skills, you can practice ice climbing by yourself, but if you only want to try it out to test yourself in ice climbing, you will need a guide. You can also try ice climbing on natural waterfalls.  There are many in the Vrata valley, of which the frozen Peričnik waterfall  is the most beautiful and attractive. Climbing it is also demanding for rock climbers as it is very steep, however, it is a wild adventure among enormous icicles!
