Many different events occur through the whole year, interesting for all generations.

Aljaž days
Every year end of August there is a three day event with different activities, shows and guests. Every year Aljaž days begin with the painter colony in Vrata valley and Photo gallery auction in the Culture house in Dovje. The last day there is a hike to Vrata valley and a memorial Mass in the small Chapel.

On this ethnographic festivity women of Zgornja Radovna present traditional cooking and baking.
Village evening
Traditional folk evening with more than 20 years of tradition is celebrated in the centre of village Dovje. Cultural program is ended with Slovenian traditional music and dancing.
Evening illumination of waterfall Peričnik
During Christmas and New Year holidays (25.12. - 6.1.) the waterfall is illuminated in the evening hours. From the last house in Mojstrana is a one hour walk on a snowy path. We advise you to wear winter jackets and suitable shoes and to bring a torch. In case of bad weather check our Announcements on our web site.
Live Christmas Crib Performance
Ice climbers Sport Association invites every winter on Live Christmas Crib Performance. Shows are on 25.-30. December and on 1.-2. January at 16.00, 17.00, 18.00 and 19.00. Entrance fee.
Slovenian evenings
In the summer every Thursday a special evening program for guests who would like to get a better inside view on Slovenia, Dovje - Mojstrana and Triglav National Park is organized by the Tourist Information Centre. Guests can try some traditional Slovenian dishes and drinks, hear to accordion playing and later see a slide show. All who would like to see the show can announce their participance at the Tourist Centre or at yours accommodations reception.
